SYBSL to Offer Winter Baseball Clinic

SPOTSWOOD, NJ - There isn't any denying that spring is in the air today with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. However, March is fickle since it is still actually winter for the next couple of weeks, which is why the Spotswood Youth Baseball and Softball League is offering a Winter Clinic indoors.

On Wednesday, March 16, the SYBSL is hosting their second winter clinic at the Fields Sports Complex in East Brunswick. The clinic will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Players will be utilizing the indoor field as well as the batting tunnels.

Players must be registered for the 2016 Spring Season and be paid in full in order to participate. The cost is only $5 per player since the SYBSL is paying half of the $10 fee.

Participants will be divided into age levels and the times will be as follows:

  • Rookies Baseball and 8U Softball - 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Minors Baseball and 10U Softball - 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Majors Baseball and 12U, 14U Softball - 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Times will be added for Seniors Baseball depending on interest.

The Fields Sports Complex is located at 8 Cornwall Court in East Brunswick.
