SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood Municipal Drug and Alcohol Alliance, along with the Spotswood Police Department and Spotswood PTA, are hosting a drug awareness program at the Memorial Middle School Gymnasium on Tuesday, April 25 at 7 p.m. Hidden In Plain Sight will be hosted by Douglas Collier, a retired Drug Enforcement Agent.

The free program will focus on the signs and symptoms of drug and alcohol use and abuse as well as early interventions parents can use. Parents and guardians will also learn the places teens will typically hide drugs and alcohol in plain sight inside the family home or vehicle.

Due to the subject matter of the program, children are not allowed to attend. The program is for adults only. The evening will also include light refreshments in addition to a raffle. Every parent attending will be automatically entered in a raffle to win an "All Around Town" basket. The value of the basket, which was donated by the Spotswood PTA, is $100.
