MILLTOWN, NJ - Boro residents may encounter traffic delays in the upcoming weeks of August and early September due to roadwork in the area of South Main Street and Ryders Lane. A Nixle advisory released on August 18 by the Milltown Police Department cautioned residents to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time in the impacted areas on the dates that the work is to be completed by the Middlesex County Department of Infrastructure Management.

Work is scheduled to be done on the following dates and in the following locations:

  • August 22 through August 31 - milling, paving and striping from Tices Lane to Stratford Road
  • August 25 through September 7 - milling, paving and striping from South Main Street Turnpike Bridge to Mill Pond Bridge
