SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Memorial Middle School's Eighth Grade Semi-Formal is a long-standing tradition that introduces eighth graders from Memorial to fellow eighth graders from Milltown's Joyce Kilmer School. The dance is more than an opportunity for the teenagers to get dressed up and have fun. It allows them to meet and mingle before the upcoming summer's Freshmen Orientation at Spotswood High School where they will be classmates for the next four years.

In order to assist with funding for the annual semi-formal, the Memorial Middle School is holding a clothing drive. The drive is running now through Saturday, February 20. Interested residents can email or to arrange a date, time and location to drop off items.
