SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Water restrictions are currently in place for Spotswood residents. The Borough is requesting that residents cease all non-essential water use such as filling of pools, washing cars and watering lawns immediately.
Residents receive water from the Daniel Road Water Treatment Plant as well as supplements that are purchased from East Brunswick Township. Currently, the Daniel Road Treatment Plant is off-line due to construction upgrades. This is a temporary situation according to a Nixle advisory released by the Borough and there will not be any interruptions in water service. Spotswood will be receiving 100% of their water from East Brunswick until the Daniel Road Water Treatment Plant is back online.
The Borough will send out another Nixle advisory when the Daniel Road Water Treatment Plant resumes operations and the restrictions are lifted. Any questions can be directed to the Water Department at 732-251-0700, extension 827.
