MILLTOWN, NJ - The Milltown Police Department is advising residents that milling and resurfacing work will begin on Milltown Road on October 1. The section of Milltown road that will be affected is the area that stretches between Ryders Lane and the Turnpike bridge.

On October 8 and 9, crews from The County Road Department will begin paving and striping the road. Work is supposed to begin at around 7 a.m. and last until approximately 3:30 p.m.

Residents that typically travel through there on their way to and from work or school should plan for delays. The Milltown police are also suggesting that residents make plans for alternate routes if possible.
