MILLTOWN, NJ - As social distancing and shutdowns continue to impact life in the Garden State, borough families are taking it one day at a time and looking for ways to bring some fun into the day while still complying with the guidelines put down by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention and the state government to keep the coronavirus from spreading. Milltown resident Kim Pedersen is inviting friends and neighbors to a town-wide dance party at 4 p.m. on Saturday, in their own yards of course.
Pedersen put the message out on Facebook as "cabin fever" is beginning to set in at her home as it is in houses across the nation. She is asking Milltown to head outside on their front lawns on Saturday afternoon and put on their favorite tunes. Families can dance and enjoy some music on their own front lawns along with others in their neighborhoods.
Social distancing guidelines advise people to keep at least six feet away from one another in order to help reduce the risk of spreading the coronavirus.
