SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Mark the calendars for the Immaculate Conception Summer Carnival on Tuesday, June 11 through Saturday, June 15. The annual carnival kicks off on June 11 and concludes with fireworks on June 15. Carnival hours are from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday and from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday.
Family-friendly events include rides, games, face-painting, a preschool activity corner and special character nights. A beer garden complete with a pool table will be on tap along with nightly tricky trays and 50/50 raffles. The carnival kitchen will feature an assortment of delicious eats along with the always-popular "Last Rites Sandwich."
New attractions at the carnival this year are Christmas in June, a country western night and super ride bracelets. The carnival will be transformed into a holiday wonderland on Thursday and a western hoedown on Friday. From jingle bells to country-line dancing, this year's carnival features an array of fun events and activities. Super ride bracelets are available for purchase and are good from Tuesday through Saturday for unlimited rides. DJ Wacky Wayne will also be on hand to provide five nights worth of entertainment.
Admission to the carnival is free as is event parking. Pre-sale ride ticket sheets and bracelets are available for purchase online.
