SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The borough's Department of Public Works will resume the services that were discontinued during the height of the coronavirus shutdown in June. Pick up of metal and consumer electronic devices will begin again on June 11. The regular Thursday collections of metal and electronic devices must be scheduled by telephoning 732-416-1829. Bulk pickups will resume on Monday, June 22. Bulk collections will then continue on alternate Mondays and must also be scheduled by telephoning the above number.

Until the metal/electronics and bulk collections resume, the dumpsters will remain at the Third Street DPW yard for resident drop off. Once both collections resume their regular schedules, the dumpsters will be removed. For additional information or questions, contact Spotswood DPW Foreman John Mayer by emailing jdmayer@spotswoodboro.com or by telephoning 732-251-3120.
