SPOTSWOOD, NJ - With August underway, Spotswood School District students return to school in just under a month. Mark the calendars for the annual back-to-school nights now.
The Memorial Middle School starts off the back-to-school nights in the district, holding the sixth through eighth grade school's on the evening before school officially opens in the district for students. Memorial's back-to-school night will be held on Wednesday, September 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The evening starts for parents in the gym and the EB Club Night will be held in the cafeteria.
The Schoenly School will hold the pre-kindergarten through first grade school's back-to-school night on Monday, September 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There will be one preschool orientation on Wednesday, September 4 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. There will be two kindergarten orientation sessions on September 4 as well. Session one is from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. and session two is from 1:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Parents will be notified as to what session to attend based on the their child's teacher.
The Appleby School will hold its back-to-school night on Thursday, September 12 at 6:30 p.m. There will also be an orientation for incoming second grade parents on Tuesday, September 3 at 6 p.m. in the school's multipurpose room. This orientation is for parents new to the second through fifth grade school as well.
Spotswood High School will hold its annual back-to-school night on Thursday, September 19 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
