SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Memorial Middle School parents and guardians will have the opportunity to go back-to-school before school officially opens for students on Thursday, September 5. The sixth through eighth grade school will host parents on Wednesday, September 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for their annual Back-To-School Night. The evening will include a brief overview of Memorial by Principal Brian Kitchin along with an introduction of staff.
Parents and guardians will then follow their child's schedule for eight-minute periods. Each teacher will provide a short introduction to the subject and their expectations for the upcoming school year. The final period of the school day is scheudled to end at 8:31 p.m. Parents and guardians will also have the opportunity to pick up information about the school's extra curricular offerings on September 4.
Students will have a separate opportunity to get information on Memorial's extra curricular activities and signup at Memorial's second annual Club Fair during an advisory period after the school year begins on September 5.
Spotswood School District teachers and staff return to school on Tuesday, September 3 while students return on Thursday, September 5.
