MILLTOWN, NJ - The Milltown Recreation Department which operates the popular School Aged Child Care program has announced it will not be offering its before and after school program at this time. Milltown SACC provides before and after school care for children in the Parkview and Joyce Kilmer School and also operates a summer program. However, the program is currently on hold because of the coronavirus crisis. The decision was made to not open up the SACC program along with the September 2 start of the school year because Milltown students are returning to school on Wednesday remotely.

The Milltown Recreation Department announced the decision on the borough's website last week. The announcement also stated the Milltown Recreation Department will update the fate of the program if the situation changes after the 2020-21 school year starts.
