SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Last week's regular meeting of the Spotswood Board of Education was canceled in compliance with the state of emergency in Middlesex County and the borough. The Spotswood BOE is conducting a virtual meeting on Tuesday, March 24. A presentation of the preliminary budget will be presented. While the meeting is not open to the public under the restrictions set forth by New Jersey Governor Murphy, residents will be able to view the meeting and participate if need be by using a Zoom link.

Participants can begin to join the BOE meeting at 6:40 p.m. and should utilize the following steps:

  • Be sure that your profile name includes your first and last name.

  • Do not turn on your video option.

  • Participants will be muted until recognized during the public comment portion of the meeting.

  • To ask a question or make a comment, click “participants” in your toolbar and click the “raise hand” button.

  • Once your “hand is raised,” you will be called upon to comment in the order received.

  • Should you desire, public comments can also be emailed to and will be addressed as received.  As required, please include your first name, last name, and address in the email.

Tonight's Spotswood Board of Education meeting will also be recorded according to an email blast sent out by the BOE.
