SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood Recreation Department is inviting Spotswood High School seniors to create a scarecrow to help decorate Charger Drive for its Rec-Tacular Halloween drive-thru on October 31. Senior Scarecrow Row is the brainchild of Project Graduation's Class of 2021 committee.

Project Graduation would like to get at least 20 scarecrows to form a ring along the drive-thru route. The committee will provide the stake and is hoping seniors will team up in groups of four to six students and let their creative juices flow to make a fall spectacular.

Seniors interested in crafting a scarecrow can email Project Graduation Committee Chair Cynthia Alongi at  If seniors are working in a group, only one person needs to contact Alongi. Completed scarecrows should be delivered to the high school by 1 p.m. on October 31 to ensure the Senior Scarecrow Ring is in full form for the 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Halloween RecTacular.
