SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood Public Library will be joining students and teachers around the globe participating in a hour of code during Computer Science Education Week on Monday, December 9 at 6 p.m. The event is for children in grades three through sixth. Participants should bring a laptop if possible otherwise the library's laptops and computers can be utilized.

Students will join other kids and teachers around the world using Google's programming language to create their own superhero. Pizza will be served. Registration is required for this event. Participants should note any food allergies during the registration process.

The library will host another hour of code on Monday, December 30 at 4 p.m. for third through sixth graders. Cookies will be served at this event. Registration for this hour of code can be done online, in-person or by telephoning the library as well.
