SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood School District has created a special online survey for parents with students in the Schoenly and Appleby Schools in order to help pave the road back to school in September. The eight-question Google form survey must be completed by 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 23. Questions include whether parents would opt for full remote instruction if it is offered by the district, if families with siblings in elementary school wish for the children to be kept on the same schedule and if families would be utilizing the before and after school CARES program if it is offered.

The final questions asked for parent input on the length of the school day keeping in mind that students would be wearing masks and be required to social distance. The current school day for Spotswood School District students is six hours and 35 minutes. In New Jersey, a school day must be at least four hours in order to be counted as a full day.
