SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Spotswood High School finally had its in-person graduation on July 9 after months of wondering about the fate of the Class of 2020's ceremony. The commencement ceremony was scheduled for the evening of July 8, but thunderstorms forced its cancellation. In the end, the Class of 2020 had blue skies and sunshine for its July 9 outdoor, in-person graduation. Due to social distancing requirements, spectators were limited. However, the commencement ceremony is now available to watch on YouTube thanks to the Spotswood Public Schools Network. The one hour, 16-minute video was put together by Spotswood High School Business, Vocational and Technology teacher Andrew Zaborney. Zaborney manages the programming of the SPSN as a part of the high school's TV Production classes, which allow students to experience the ins and outs of running a network. Viewers can subscribe to SPSN on YouTube.
