SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Did you love riddles and guessing games as a kid? Is tasting sweets from other countries right up your alley? Then, the Spotswood Public Library has just the thing for you. On Wednesday, July 24 at 6:30 p.m. the Spotswood Public Library has your just desserts at the International Sweets and Treats Taste Test.
Participants can sample delicious desserts and sweet snacks from other countries. Then, he or she will have to try and identify the country of origin. This family-friendly event is the icing on the cake for a hot summer day. A parent or guardian must attend with any child under the age of 12. Many of the foods may contain milk, soy, tree nuts or peanuts. Registration is required and can be completed online, by telephoning the library at 732-251-1515 or in-person at the circulation desk.
