MILLTOWN, NJ - Haven't had time to slide a patriotic pizza into the oven? No worries. The Milltown Fourth of July Committee has extended the entry deadline to Wednesday, July 4 for the borough's first-ever Patriotic Pie contest. The Patriotic Pizza Pie contest is sponsored by Milltown's local pizzerias Maria's, Dusal's and Francesco. Participants can purchase a pizza kit at either Maria's on 119 North Main Street, Dusal's at 100 Ryders Lane or Francesco's at 23 North Main Street.
Once the pizza is hot and delicious, take a photograph and send it along with the completed entry form to the Milltown Fourth of July Committee at firstname.lastname@example.org. Forms are available at the pizzerias where the pizza kits are sold or at the Milltown Fourth of July website. Forms and photos must be received by the Milltown Fourth of July Committee by Wednesday in order to be considered.
A judging panel will select the best patriotic pizzas. The top three selections will be announced on July 4. All top three vote getters will be awarded prizes.
