SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Borough seniors are perhaps the most isolated during the coronavirus shutdown because the 65 and over set are considered the most vulnerable to COVID-19. In an effort to bring a smile to the faces of the borough's oldest population, the Spotswood Recreation Department is seeking to make a community-wide connection with local seniors.

Residents are invited to send notes, letters and drawings to the Spotswood REC Department via regular mail by April 29. All letters, notes and drawings will be hand delivered to seniors by the staff of the Spotswood Senior Center on their next neighborhood bus visit. Letters can be mailed to the Spotswood REC Department at 467 Adirondack Avenue, Spotswood, NJ, 08884. Residents can also email the REC Department to make arrangements for a social distancing letter pickup.
