HELMETTA, NJ -  Having a baby is the best reason to go to the hospital, but even this happy occasion has been colored by the coronavirus pandemic. Helmetta's Stacey Bousellam is a Unit Clerk at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Bousellam works in the labor and delivery unit and is the borough's latest Hometown Hero. Despite the coronavirus threat, Bousellam remains dedicated to her job. She's been a unit clerk at Robert Wood Johnson for the past 17 years. Before that, she worked at St. Peter's University Hospital.

Bousellam's family describes her as giving and compassionate person at home and on the job. She and her family have been a part of the Helmetta community for the past 25 years. When she is not at the hospital, Bousellam enjoys traveling, the arts, crafting and scrapbooking. She was nominated to be a Helmetta Hometown Hero by her proud daughters Jenna and Anissa.

If you know a Helmetta Hometown Hero like Caputo who is on the frontline of the coronavirus crisis, send borough Mayor Chris Slavicek an email at mayor@helmettaboro.com. Nominations should include the person's name, a brief description of their job, what makes them a hometown hero and a photograph.
