SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood School District heads back to school on Thursday, September 5. Helmetta Mayor Chris Slavicek and Spotswood Mayor Ed Seely will both be on hand to greet the youngest students as they return to classes on September 5 and September 6.

Slavicek and Seely will be at the Schoenly School on Thursday, September 5 to welcome the district's preschool, kindergarten and first graders during morning drop off. On Friday, September 6, the mayors will be at the Appleby School to greet the district's second through fifth graders as they return to classes during morning drop off. The Back-to-School Mornings with the Mayors has become an annual September tradition for the Spotswood School District. Spotswood Police Chief Michael Zarro is also on hand to welcome parents and kids as they say goodbye to summer and hello to the school year.
