HELMETTA, NJ - Ronald Dzingleski is the current Helmetta Borough Council President. He is a longtime borough resident. His family has lived in Helmetta for generations. As a youngster, Dzingleski attended school in Helmetta at the Borough Hall. Since 1986, Dzingleski has worked in the grocery industry. Today, he is a manager for Stop & Shop supermarkets. The coronavirus pandemic has placed him in the front lines of the crisis.

Even though he is in management, Dzingleski is hands-on whether it is sanitizing the store, stocking shelves, being a cashier or helping customers. His dedication and commitment during the coronavirus pandemic is why Dzingleski is Tuesday's Helmetta Hometown Hero.

"As current Borough Council President, Ron truly supports his community," Helmetta Mayor Chris Slavicek said. "He is a very generous and active participant to all town events. Ron is an advocate for the residents and proudly serves his community with the utmost integrity."
