MILLTOWN, NJ - Milltown waterways have been reopened for fishing according to a Nixle advisory released by the Milltown Police Department on Thursday, April 30. Fishing was suspended in the borough on April 24 by the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife following the discovery of fuel spill runoff that had made its way into Milltown waterways. The fuel runoff was from an accident that occurred on Route One. An investigation into the safety of the borough's waterways was conducted by the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife over the weekend. Representatives from the NJDFW visited the borough on April 25.
