SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Getting in shape often tops the list of New Year's resolutions and the Spotswood Public Library is helping the borough's older population stay on track with 45-minute Geri-Fit strength training classes twice a week. The classes are offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. starting on January 6 and running through March 25. Participants are asked to bring two to three pound weights and a stretch band. All exercises will be done from the seated position. Water will be provided by the Spotswood Public Library.
Class size is limited, so registration is required. Registration can be done online, in-person at the library's circulation desk or by telephoning the library at 732-251-1515. The Spotswood Public Library is located at 548 Main Street.
