MILLTOWN, NJ - Milltown officers will be on patrol this summer as always, helping to keep the borough safe. However, officers will also be keeping an eye out for kids of all ages who are "doing the right thing" over summer vacation. Positive choices for younger kids, tweens and teens include wearing helmets when biking, skating and scootering as well as crossing at corners with the light in crosswalks, following the rules of the road when biking and of course being kind to others.

Kids caught "doing the right thing" will receive a special citation from the Milltown Police Department that can be redeemed at one of five participating businesses in the borough. Participating businesses include the Coffee Bar, Dusal's Pizzeria, Bagel Express, the Milltown Ice Cream Depot and Four Boys Ice Cream. This summer safety campaign is sponsored by the Milltown Police Department and PBA Local 338.
