METUCHEN, NJ - Allison Clarke earned her fifth double-double of the season in the Spotswood High School girls varsity basketball team's 60-33 loss to Metuchen High School on Wednesday. The junior forward scored 12 points and had 11 rebounds to notch the double-double. She also had three blocks in the game. Clarke has 130 points and 107 rebounds in 11 games for the Chargers. Giana Oelkers netted 11 points and had five rebounds. Oelkers also had four steals. Giana Perez added six points and Kirti Craig chipped in four. Chase Klavon and Molly Malague both dropped 20 points for the Bulldogs. Malague also earned a double-double in the game with 11 rebounds.

Spotswood's loss drops the team's overall record to 4-7. The team is back on the court on Friday as the shortened season winds down. Spotswood will play Dunellen High School at the John P. Faber School at 7:15 p.m. Parents and fans can watch the game via a live-stream link available on the Spotswood High School website under the Athletic Schedule icon. Spotswood's Athletic Department also shares the live-stream link on game day on its Twitter account. Spotswood won the earlier meeting between the two teams this season.
