PRINCETON, NJ - Allison Clarke netted 14 points in the Spotswood High School girls varsity basketball team's 42-36 victory over Princeton High School Monday. Spotswood took a 28-25 lead into the halftime break. Princeton rebounded in the final two quarters to outscore the Chargers 23-14, but Spotswood still came out on top to improve the team's overall record to 12-10. Jessica Addesso scored eight points while Maddie Hellerich put up seven. Julia Masucci and Kirti Craig both added four points and Gianna Oelkers chipped in three. Molly Brown had nine points for Princeton and Nora Devine scored eight.

Spotswood travels to South Brunswick High School on Wednesday to face the Vikings. The two teams have not met on the court since 2016. South Brunswick has won the last five matchups between the two teams. The Vikings are struggling this winter with a 3-14 overall record. South Brunswick has lost its last three games. Tip off is at 6 p.m.
