SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Andrew Bishara locked up his eighth shutout of his final season for the Spotswood High School boys varsity soccer team in the Chargers' 5-0 victory over Edison High School on Tuesday. Bishara made seven saves to help Spotswood earn its 12th win of the season. Yanni Hatzistefanis netted two goals. Chris Moran had a three-point afternoon with two goals and one assist. Liam Barlow scored a goal and notched an assist for Spotswood while Luke Tharney had two assists. Maksym Bukachevsky made 15 saves for Edison.

Spotswood has one more regular season game on the schedule before the first round of the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group Two Tournament. The Chargers play North Brunswick High School on Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Spotswood High School Varsity Soccer Field.

Tuesday's first round game will be an exciting matchup since the seventh seeded Chargers will be facing off against tenth seeded South River High School. The Chargers/Rams games are always a huge rivalry and a big fan draw. Spotswood swept both games against South River this season including the popular night game at Veterans Park in South River. Game time is 2 p.m. at the Spotswood High School Varsity Soccer Field.
