EDISON, NJ - James Clarke scored 16 points in the Spotswood High School boys varsity basketball team's loss to Wardlaw-Hartridge High School on Saturday. Spotswood led the Rams by six after the halftime break. Wardlaw-Hartridge came back strong in the final two quarters of the game outscoring the Chargers 36-23 to wrap up the victory. Saivon Pressley was the game's top scorer, netting 26 points for the Rams. Andrew Bishara and Jack Welsh both scored a dozen points each for the Chargers whose overall record dropped to 5-10. George Guyette added six for Spotswood. Alvari Mhya scored 13 for the Rams while Saleem Ibraheem had 10 rebounds.

Spotswood hosts South River High School on Monday at the Spotswood High School Gymnasium. The Chargers defeated South River in their previous meeting this season. South River has had their on-the-court woes as well in 2020, losing 10 in a row since New Year's Day. Tip off is at 5:30 p.m.
