ISELIN, NJ - Kirti Craig netted two goals and had two assists while Mandee Mendez had two goals and one assist to help the Spotswood High School girls varsity soccer team notch their seventh win of the season on Monday. Julia Masucci made two saves to earn her eighth shutout. Masucci and the Spotswood defense have only allowed one goal in nine games. The Chargers and South River High School are the only remaining undefeated teams in the Greater Middlesex Conference. South River defeated Calvary Christian 3-0 yesterday.

Spotswood had a 3-0 lead by the halftime break and peppered 26 shots on JFK while completing the season sweep of the Mustangs. JFK is winless in nine outings. Kayla Sabo also had an assist in the Chargers' victory. Spotswood travels to South Plainfield on Wednesday to take on the Tigers at the PAL Complex on Maple Avenue. Game time is 4 p.m. The Chargers shut out South Plainfield 3-0 earlier this season.
