SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Liam Barlow scored one goal and notched four assists in the Spotswood High School boys varsity soccer team's 5-0 shutout over John F. Kennedy High School on Friday. Yanni Hatzistefanis, Chris Moran, Luke Tharney and Gabe Rosario all netted goals for the Chargers. Tim Smith earned an assist in the win. Andrew Bishara made seven saves to secure his sixth shutout of the season.

The Chargers victory was the team's third in a row and improved their overall season record to 8-5. Spotswood travels to Carteret High School on Wednesday to take on the Ramblers at 6:30 p.m. The Chargers defeated Carteret 2-1 in their previous meeting this season.
