SPOTSWOOD, NJ - George Guyette netted 18 to help lead the Spotswood High boys varsity basketball team past Jackson Liberty High School 61-38 on Friday. The victory ended a four-game slide that included an early exit from the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament. Andrew Bishara and Kyle Davey both scored 13 points for the Chargers. James Clarke added seven and Darius Harrison, Miguel Chica and Casey Cumiskey all chipped in three points. Manny Clay and Phanique Dupree both scored 10 points for Jackson Liberty.

Spotswood plays its final regular season game on Monday when the team travels to Sportika in Manalapan to take on Calvary Christian. This is the first meeting between the two teams. Calvary Christian has an overall record of 8-16 and a 4-14 in Greater Middlesex Conference games. Tip off is at 4 p.m. on Monday.

The Chargers are the 13th seed in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group Two Sectional Tournament. Spotswood will face fourth seeded Robbinsville High School on Tuesday, March 3 at 7 p.m.
