MANVILLE, NJ - The Spotswood High School boys varsity basketball team won their third straight game to even their overall record to 5-5. Spotswood defeated Manville High School 71-45 on Saturday. Three Chargers put up double digits in the victory. Jack Welsh was the game's top scorer with 18 while James Clarke netted 15. George Guyette put 14 on the scoreboard. Kyle Davey added eight for the Chargers and Andrew Bishara chipped in six. Nasir Peek and Shawn Purcell both scored seven for Manville.

Spotswood will look to move over the .500 mark on Monday when the Chargers host Middlesex High School at the Spotswood High School Gymnasium. Middlesex is 4-4 this season and has a 4-2 record against Greater Middlesex Conference Blue Division teams. Spotswood is 3-2 in Blue Division matchups. Spotswood and Middlesex split their games against each other last season. Tip off is 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
