JAMESBURG, NJ - It was a beautiful Saturday for a run as the Spotswood High School cross country teams participated in the 2019 Class Meet at Thompson Park along side 63 other teams from throughout the Garden State. Waves of runners hit the Jamersburg course which also serves as the spot for all Chargers home meets. Freshman runners completed a 2.5 mile course while sophomore, junior and senior runners ran the normal 5K course which his 3.1 miles. Matt Rios was the highest Spotswood finisher on the day. Rios was fifth in the freshmen race with a time of 14:25.64. Here are the other top Chargers' finishers in Saturday's races:
