ROSELLE, NJ - The Spotswood High School varsity football team lost 36-27 to Roselle High School on Saturday afternoon. The victory was Roselle's first of the season. The Chargers' loss dropped the team's overall record to 3-5. Spotswood is 3-2 in the Greater Middlesex Conference Gold Division. The Chargers complete the 2019 regular season on Friday with a 7 p.m. kickoff at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Saint Thomas, formerly known as Bishop Ahr, has an identical overall and division record to the Chargers. The Trojans won last year's meeting 28-21 between the two teams 28-21 and lost yesterday 44-6 to Bernards High School.
