SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood High School girls tennis team split its last two matches to improve its overall season record to 5-11. Spotswood's Friday, October 11 3-2 victory over John F. Kennedy High School was the fifth for the team this season. The Chargers earned two wins over Carteret High School this fall as well as victories over South River and Perth Amboy High Schools. On Monday, the team lost their home match to South Plainfield High School 3-2.

Spotswood rounds out its season with two home matches this week. The Chargers host North Brunswick High School on Wednesday and Sayreville High School on Friday. Both home matches begin at 3:45 p.m. at the Spotswood High School Tennis Courts on Summerhill Road.
