SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood High School girls varsity tennis team lost to Woodbridge High School on Friday, dropping their overall record to 3-6. Gabriela Zeron lost her first singles match to Brianna Davis, (6-2, 6-0), while Karen Mausser her second singles match to Sherri Lee, (6-2, 6-4). Axelle Lemiere dropped her third singles match to Helen Loda, (6-2, 6-4).

Angelina Moschella and Melody Dzergoski moved up to first doubles for Friday's match with Woodbridge. The pair lost to Chloe Monsanto and Jada Murphy, (6-1, 6-1). Elizabeth Sullivan and Delaney Yaniak teamed up to play second doubles for Spotswood, but lost to Katie Nguyen and Pooja Patel, (6-0, 6-2).

Spotswood heads to Kennedy Park in Sayreville on Monday to take on Sayreville War Memorial High School. Matches begin at 4 p.m.
