WOODBRIDGE, NJ - With a revamped and shortened lineup, the Spotswood High School girls varsity tennis team dropped their Wednesday match to Woodbridge High School 5-0. Freshman Angelina Moschella lost her first singles match to Brianna Davis, (6-0, 6-0), while fellow freshman Melody Dzergoski lost her second singles match to Sherri Lee, (6-0, 6-0). Woodbridge's Helen Loda won her third singles match over Spotswood's Delaney Yaniak by forfeit. Spotswood also had to forfeit the first doubles match, giving the pair of Jada Murphy and Chloe Mondanto the win for Woodbridge. Elizabeth Sullivan and Kaysha Guzman lost their second doubles match to Pooja Patel and Katie Nguyen, (6-0, 6-2).

Spotswood's loss drops the Chargers overall season record to 1-2. The Chargers travel to Warren Park in Woodbridge on Friday to take on Perth Amboy High School. Matches begin at 4 p.m.
