HIGHTSTOWN, NJ - The Spotswood High School varsity wrestling team attended a multi-team meet on Saturday along with Hightstown, Middletown South and Princeton High Schools. Spotswood came away from the meet with one win and two losses. The Chargers lost to Hightstown 47-24 and 45-21 to Middletown South. Spotswood picked up a victory over Princeton, winning 44-28. Zach Weiner won all three of his matches at the weekend meet.

After Saturday's multi-team meet, Spotswood's overall record is 3-6. The Chargers have 1-3 record in the Greater Middlesex Conference Blue Division. St. Thomas Aquinas High School leads the Blue Division with a 4-0-1 record. Spotswood gets back on the mat on Tuesday when the Chargers go up against Highland Park High School. Matches begin at 6 p.m. at the Spotswood High School Gymnasium.
