The Chargers' victory is the team's third in a row and pulls Spotswood to within one game of the .500 mark. With wins over Princeton, Highland Park and the Ramblers, Spotswood's overall record improves to 5-6. The team's victory over Carteret moves Spotswood's Greater Middlesex Conference Blue Division record to 3-1. Spotswood is now in second place in the division behind Blue Division leader St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
