10-15 Total Inches Predicted as Winter Storm Bears Down on the Garden State


NEW YORK, NY - The National Weather Service is reporting that residents of the region should expect one to two inches of snow to fall per hour, with total accumulations ranging from 10 to 15 inches. 

The weather service expects travel to be "very difficult to nearly impossible" due during the evening commuting hours. Significant reductions in visibility are expected. 

Power outages due to heavy snow weighing down trees or their limbs will be likely.
