BLOOMFIELD, NJ - An anonymous tip from a witness led to the arrest of a man suspected of package theft. The arrest was made Wednesday afternoon after the theft of a UPS package from the porch of a home on North 15th Street.
Michael Ramos, 33, was located with the stolen package in his possession by Bloomfield Police Officer Robert Estelle and Detective James Peri and arrested without incident.

He has been transported to the Essex County Correctional Facility while he awaits trial.
“This case was quickly solved and an arrest made due to an anonymous tip.
