Each group or candidate will have a table at the event to distribute information and to meet with voters.  Groups and candidate are coming together in one location to make it easier for people to find out how they can join the movement for change. To meet candidate and groups who are organizing communities for common sense solutions to some of our toughest challenges.  Whether they are eager to join the fight to save health care for millions; rise-up against attacks on the rights of women, immigrants and working families; or help elect candidates with common sense and progressive ideas, attendees will be able to find a group to join. The event will end with a rally and TBD keynote speaker.

Event organizer Declan Carney of BluewaveNJ said of the event, "There is a lot of grassroots energy in New Jersey with many new groups forming to help channel this energy into action.  The summit offers these groups, their leaders, membership and new people who want to join the movement for change, an opportunity to form new and stronger working relationships. The Far Right Republican agenda is a real and present threat to our New Jersey community values and we recognize we must come together to fight for our values and our communities against this threat.”

Progressive Summit & Rally co-sponsors include NJ 11th for Change and NJ Working Families. Other co-sponsors will be announced over the next few weeks.
