Car Crashes into Marzullo's Restaurant in Montclair

MONTCLAIR, NJ - A car crashed into Marzullo's Restaurant sometime after 10a.m. this morning as a result of a 3-car accident. Located at 117 Grove Street, the staff could not be reached for comment. The driver of one of the vehicles sustained minor injuries and first responders were on the scene to provide immediate care. 

Lt. David O'Dowd of the Montclair Police Department said, "One of the vehicles struck the front entrance of Marzullo’s Restaurant causing some damage to the door." He confirmed that a minor injury of a cut on the arm was reported. "They are investigating to determine what caused the crash," He added.

The buildings and health department was then sent to inspect the structure.

While investigating the accident, Officers discovered one of the drivers involved had open warrants out of other New Jersey towns. The Montclair Police Department reported that Jamar T. Walton, 36 of East Orange, was arrested for open warrants out of Greenbrook ($849), North Plainfield ($764), Edison ($500) and Irvington ($500).
