BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Chipotle's Bloomfield location opened Thursday morning with cheers as employees enthusiastically greeted the first guests through the door.

Customer Ayyisha told TAPinto Bloomfield that she is excited to see what is happening here. Aside from Chiptole, she is a customer of ALDI as are many of her neighbors.

Paul described himsel as "super excited" as he waited in line to place his order. Burrrito bowls are his thing.

Chipotle features an open kitchen. Guests can watch as food is cooked fresh, all of the beef and chicken used in all locations arrives raw and is cooked on site. The guacamole is prepared fresh several times each day, as are the other vegetable incredients. 

Chipotle's signature burritos are available traditionally, or in a bowl to be eaten with a knife and fork. Guests have a choice of chicken, beef, and carnitas, then select other items to add to their burrito including black or pinto beans, cheese, salsa verde, guacamole, and chili lime rice. 

Tyler, a corporate representative, told TAPinto Bloomfield that this locaiton is right in the middle of everything: several schools including Bloomfield College, new residential area, established communities, as well as a business area that is growing. 

Chipotle is located at 240 Bloomfield Avenue, in the same shopping center as ALDI and PetValu on the old Harz-Mountain site. The restaurant will be open seven days a week from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.
