ESSEX COUNTY, NJ – With temperatures forecasted to remain above 90 degrees throughout the week, Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. and Essex County Sheriff Armando Fontoura announced that Essex County Codey Arena is available to the public as a cooling center. It will be open to the public July 30 and July 31 from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., August 1 from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and August 2 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (All skating activities will not be interrupted.) Essex County Codey Arena is located at 560 Northfield Avenue, West Orange.
