MONTCLAIR, NJ - The public is invited to mix and mingle with three special guests who will be in attendance at Coffee with a Cop on May 23 at 8:30a.m.
Located at Java Love on 49 Church Street (at the new location), the recently appointed Chief Todd Conforti and his two Deputy Chiefs of Police Tracy Frazzano and Wilhem Young are looking forward to meeting and greeting township residents, and business owners/workers while enjoying their morning coffee.
The Montclair Police Department’s Community Service Unit (CSU) strives to form partnerships with all of Montclair, including our residents as well as our businesses. All too often, the community only interacts with the police in times of crisis.
In an effort to foster positive relationships with the police, the Montclair Police Department is proud to continue “Coffee with a Cop.” The idea behind “Coffee with a Cop” is to afford the public an opportunity to meet and speak with their local law enforcement professionals in an open and friendly atmosphere, just like your shop.
The program is being successfully conducted by over 175 different police agencies in 36 different states. The public gets to have their questions answered or even just say hello and meet the person that wears the uniform, all over a delicious cup of coffee.
