The Moving Architects and Central Presbyterian Church in Montclair are partnering together to offer the Community Movement Project, a 4-Week pay-what-you-can movement program for kids and adults, beginning May 14.  Classes offered include Pilates/Barre Blend classes for Adults with free childcare available, and Creative Movement Classes for kids ages 3-9.  All classes will be led by The Moving Architects director, Erin Carlisle Norton, and held at Central Presbyterian Church in Montclair.  Bringing together Central’s interest in serving families and children in the area with The Moving Architects’ belief that dance and movement should be enjoyed and accessed by all, the partnership promises high-quality and enjoyable movement experiences for all involved.

As head of the program, Norton brings to the Community Movement Project over 15 years of experience as a professional dancer, choreographer, administrator, and movement educator.  Says Norton about the program “I am thrilled to be partnering with Central Presbyterian Church to share my love of movement and provide this type of programming to local families and the community.  For years I’ve wanted to start an outreach movement program to provide individuals access to dance and fitness who may not have the means to participate regularly.  Finding a wonderful partner in Central Presbyterian makes this dream possible.”
