MONTCLAIR, NJ – Dozens of families flocked to the front lawn of St. James Episcopal Church located at 581 Valley Road on Sunday afternoon. For two hours, children were given an opportunity to participate in the petting zoo, an annual event offered to the public at no charge.
Volunteers offered free activities to children such as fingerpainting, free pumpkin give-a-way and pumpkin painting.
Children also had a chance to pet the animals, hold the bunnies, ride a pony or play on the playground.
Among the other activities that are being offered to the community, the Fellowship Committee is planning a family hike through Jockey Hollow, Morristown. The hike is geared toward kids, teens and adults. If interested, email email@example.com.
